Oyo NYSC Reacts to Viral Video of Corps Member Wearing Long Skirts

The Oyo state chapter of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has distanced itself from a viral video making the rounds on social media showing a female corps member wearing a long white skirt instead of the standard white shorts at the Iseyin orientation camp, Siggy reports.

Recall that yesterday Siggy posted photos and videos of the female corps member wearing white and khaki skirts at one of the NYSC orientation camps. She was also seen in one of the clips engaging in a heated argument with other members of the scheme while preaching her religious beliefs. It was reported that the video was taken at the Iseyin orientation camp, Oyo state.

However, the Assistant Director, Press and Public Relations Unit, NYSC, Oyo State, Mrs. Olatoye Christy, in a statement, said that no such corps member was present at the orientation camp, adding that every corps member is abiding with the rules of the scheme.

She advised the public to disregard the video as it never happened at the Iseyin permanent orientation camp.
