Ekiti State University (EKSU) students have taken to twitter to bemoan the school management over the N78,000 convocation ceremony fee charged for each graduating student, Siggy reports.
The management of EKSU, on March 8, had announced the combined 25th and 26th convocation ceremonies on the university website for graduates from 2018/2019 and 2019/2020 academic sessions.
The graduating students were subsequently asked to pay a fee of N78,000.
Twitter users have, on Wednesday, taken to the social media platform to protest and condemn the development, describing the N78,000 convocation fee as exorbitant and extorting.
They tweeted under the hashtag ‘#SaveEksu.’
